Collin is incredibly proud to be a part of the Humble team! A graduate of Rider University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, Collin has significant experience working with client’s who struggle with dual diagnoses in mental illness and substance use disorder. For the last three years, Collin has worked and advocated for clients from an HIV/AIDS medical case management and prevention perspective, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, and relapse prevention techniques to help clients achieve higher functioning and work towards specific and achievable life goals.
In addition to utilizing multiple therapeutic modalities in treatment, Collin is an accomplished musician and will often employ the healing power of music and other expressive techniques to engage, assess, and treat clients who struggle with identity issues, anxiety management, acute stress, mood disruption, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Before coming to Humble, he worked with several psychology labs at the University of Delaware focusing on bullying prevention and infant attachment disorders.
Collin holds a B.S. in Psychology from Wilmington University, an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rider University, and is a Board Certified Case Manager (CCM). Collin is currently working diligently towards achieving professional licensure as a counselor with the State of New Jersey.
