Jonathan is a highly passionate and motivated individual who seeks to provide support and encouragement to those in therapy and treatment. Jonathan spent three years gaining experience as a case manager in Langhorne, PA and as a partial care counselor in Trenton, NJ. Jonathan firmly believes that the key to alleviating mental health issues, substance abuse problems, and relationship concerns is to address the underlying issues going on with the individual, which may stem from early on in their lives. Jonathan obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University and his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey.
Jonathan has developed an integrative approach to therapy, which includes particular aspects of a variety of therapeutic techniques and tools, such as motivational interviewing, utilizing a strengths-based approach, and Narrative therapy. In addition, Jonathan encourages mindfulness and meditation practices in order to explore and truly learn about one’s self. Jonathan has supplemental interests in mindfulness, exercise and nutrition.
Jonathan is recognized as having his Master’s of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Jonathan is currently working on obtaining hours to complete his licensure requirements and become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
